• Use article outlines – One of the last things I do in my work day is outline the articles I plan to write the next day. In this way when I get up the next morning I don’t have to come up with new ideas, the outline is already there and I just have to fill in the blanks.

• Write in article sets – Chris Knight of EzineArticles talks about writing in “article sets.” An article set is simply a set of artilces around the same topic. While you are writing one article, other ideas about the same topic come to mind. Capture those ideas and then write more articles.

• Finish one, start another – When I have finished and then submitted an article, I am not done with my process. Before I am done I write the working title and a few bullet points for the next article. At the very least I have an outline waiting for me. Usually it triggers more of the article in my mind and I go ahead and write the next article. In this way you can write many articles in one sitting.

And when you use these three strategies you can’t help but write more articles in less time.
