Instead, you can start your own thread so your message is always sitting right there at the top. It virtually guarantees that anyone reading the thread will notice your piece of it.

It’s also worth noting that threads get pushed down the list as other people respond to other threads. Every time someone contributes to a thread, it puts that particular thread back at the very top, and that’s where all the traffic is. So if no one has contributed to your thread in a while, that might be a good time to log on and post another comment to your own thread, pushing it back to the top of the pile.
