Work At Home Keyword Analysis Advice For Beginners

Today is

Wordpress search engine optimization isn’t always easy and it is necessary for any blog to be optimized correctly. Today is Day 3 of the 30 day internet marketing success guide and I’m going to be discussing Keyword Analysis and optimization for search engines. Day 1 and 2 covered setting up your wordpress blog and today I will discuss some insider secrets for optimizing your blog correctly.

By correctly optimizing your blog postings and targeting high searching keywords will result in higher organic Google placement. Of course it takes more then just correct keyword placement but keyword useage and placement is a huge part of using Google’s search engine to your advantage once you achieve a high PR.

First and foremost Google likes content, original content! Content that people actually will enjoy reading and can benefit from. If you create this type of content your readership will rise and eventually so will your backlinks to your blog! This is a benefit for everyone, you teach or give some useful information that someone can use and Google will give you higher organic result!

Not only does your blog posting need to be original but it also needs to be frequent. Google doesn’t like blogs that don’t have postings in weeks or months and will thus not ‘crawl’ your blog frequently. This can be a huge problem and will harm your Google search results rankings. So try and post daily or every other day, this will build your blog’s directory and build credibility with Google. Not to mention that if the content that you publish is useful people will come back daily to see what other information you may have.

If for some reason you can’t post original and useful content day after day you may want to consider hiring either a ghost writer or article writer for you. Prices are relatively cheap and the articles will be unique. A typical 500 – 600 word article is around $5. I personally suggest using a freelance website known as Elance, a link can be found on my blog under the Day 3 posting. Keep in mind that you can find the previous days and future days for this 30 Day Guide to Internet Marketing success on my blog with links, pictures, and useful videos.

Now you understand the importance of original content and how it will benefit you for organic search engine results. I’m going to give you some pointers now on keyword analysis and how to use keywords to gain search engine results. Whether you are employing a ghost writer or writing the articles yourself it will be necessary to make sure that the keywords have been placed correctly in the blog so that Google will understand the significance of that keyword in your blog posting.

Head over to Wordtrackers free keyword search tool and enter in your ‘general’ theme of your blog. Let’s assume that bass fishing is the theme of your blog and you need some ideas of which ‘keyword’ to write for. By entering bass fishing in the tool you notice that ‘Bass Fishing Techniques’ is the most searched keyword in regards to bass fishing. That’s perfect as you can easily write about this topic and have some good information for your readers. Here is what you are going to want to do with the keyword ‘Bass Fishing Techniques’.

  • Use ‘bass fishing techniques’ in the Title of your blogpost
  • Use ‘bass fishing techniques’ in the first 90 characters of your post
  • Use ‘bass fishing techniques’ at least one more time in your post

That’s it! Now Google will understand the importance of that keyword for that blog posting. Don’t think that this will guarantee that you will be on the first page for that keyword but once your blog starts gaining ranking in Google you will begin to rise for that keyword. How cool is that?

Continue doing this for other similar keywords that Wordtrackers free keyword program suggests. It will help you for some future blog ideas and keep you on track.

I’m going to let this absorb into your head today, it’s been a lot of information over the past two days.
