Work At Home This is how you get a steady flow of Affiliate Marketing checks

Today is

Today, affiliate marketing has exploded and competition is getting stiff. Probably because it’s the easiest business model where many new entrepreneurs begin with. In affiliate marketing, all marketers would want to be the kind of marketers who like and want to see a check when you open up your mailbox in the morning! The challenge is to try and outdo other affiliates and think of ways to attain this.

Always, always and aways look for a stable affiliate program.
Get to know the best program and products to promote. Choose a program wisely. For example, you would want to choose a company with a long and solid track record of paying their affiliates, and a clickable image to Better Business Bureau site (http://welcome.bbb.org/). Choose the ones that have a generous commission structure and have products that appeal to your target audience. Good affiliate programs will not leave their affiliates high and dry. Instead, they will provide good marketing tools and training to get their affiliates started. One of the cardinal rules of affiliate marketing is to stick with one program, and not flirt like a butterfly from one program to another before you have take some time to learn and test it. I would suggest working a program at least 6 months before you quit! This way, you will gain more experience to build up your income.

Owning a website and newsletter.
I’m surprised that there are still many marketers having their website using free domain. Having your own website can be a boon to your online affiliate sales. By having a domain of your own, you can set up a simple opt-in newsletter form where people can subscribe to your list and cater to their needs week after week, without having to return to the internet each time to find new prospect! In order to build a list, you need an autoresponder tool where you can capture contact information. Your newsletter will be sent out automatically and this put your business on auto-pilot. Besides, you have to know how to convince your target audience by grabbing their attention and keeping it brief. Don’t require them to read through a 10-pages sales letter only to find out all they have to do was enter their email address on some sort of freebies!

Get targeted audience with free viral reports.
Free viral reports is quite possibly the most deadly weapon in affiliate marketing! All you have to do is develop a viral report for little or no cost, embed an affiliate link in the said report, and then find carious avenues of distribution that will ensure that the report is perpetuated as far as possible from group to group. A good way to distribute your viral report is to create a buzz on niche forums. Discuss some specific experience you had related to the topic which is covered in the report. You may want to do it well in advance of your release date. Furthermore, you may also want to explain that the report is free, and start locking people in for immediate distribution via email by getting them to join a list.

Using programs like Camtasia.
What better way to impress your prospects than to record and publish full motion and streaming videos. Programs like Camtasia can record your desktop activity in a single click. It can easily convert your videos into web pages and have your customers visit that certain page. Videos are easy to understand and learn from, unlike reading texts which oftentimes is a tiring thing to do! You can also create stunning multimedia presentations that are proven to increase sales.

Using niche social networking site.
Many business are now infiltrating social networks to advertise in some subtle manner and then replicate their message through systems that are already available. You may want to add a personal profile for yourself and talk about your business; or simply create a profile for your business and use that to market your product. By adding your website or products in niche social networking sites, you will be able to reach the largest crowd quickly. Your goal should be to develop a network of people who share a common interest and could potentially be interested in your product. You could also make use of sites that share common interest like home business or internet entrepreneurs to reach out to a wider audience.

Which social networks are you a part of?

Which do you feel work the best for affiliate marketing? I’m assuming you hit the facebook/myspace.

I’ve went to a couple and it’s massive spam attacks. Have you been to any social networks geared towards home business or stay at home mom’s?

I joined most of the Social networking sites, and i can say that they are no different. The key term here is “networking,” give and take. Social networking success stories have one thing in common: “They’re all about the ping-pong effect – It’s about sharing yourself and in turn, those people mention you to their friends.”

You could try LinkedIn. It’s an excellent for professional and career- related online marketing because it focuses exclusively on business and professional networking.

Don’t know have you tried Ning Group where you can create your own networking site.

Anywhere, Facebook is still the most widely used and most popular in internet marketing world today. From my experience, I have hundreds of friends in my profile but I never got any spam attacks (or am I the lucky one?).

Spammers are everywhere. I believe most networking sites have spam protection. You can choose who to receive message from or to view your profile.

You can find a complete list of social networking sites here:

I personally use video marketing to marekt the products I want to sell, people are more willing to buy something from someone they can see.
I’m also a member of Social Networking sites but they are rather better to build relationships with people than to sell products.

I think you forgot the part where you to make a heck of a lot of sales ;)

I’ve been in on the affiliate marketing game now for over a year. It’s incredibly satisfying once you hit the point where you continually receive checks in the mail each month.

Social networking sites are good for a short boost in traffic and sales, but as stated above it is a ping pong effect the traffic is up and down. I still use them because any traffic helps sales.
